12 years ago when I first started using Accpac, you could Tab or Enter your way around a screen. At some stage the Enter key was disabled. All my male employees sit with their thumb hovered over the Tab button while they key in with one finger. My female admin workers used to be able to key in an a/c number, date, invoice number, amount, etc, using the number key pad and hitting the Enter key with their little finger to move from cell to cell. Very efficient and quick keying. Now they have to Tab from cell to cell - not so efficient, especially if you are holding paperwork in your left hand, which does happen. Any chance we can get the use of the Enter key back again ? Soon ? Please ! Pretty Please !!

and also activate the Escape key to close screens etc
Agreed. TAB/ENTER keys to move around; and ESCAPE key to close the screen. Short-cuts are time-savers. Really will love to have these enabled.

William, yes we started with an early version of Accpac, but only lost that ability with one of the version 5 upgrades a few years back.
Please bring Enter back. More efficient!

I'm neutral. Enter has a special funtion in the Windows environment. Would be useful, but only if it can be done without causing issues with wider Windows navigation.
