Sage 300: We are using lot tracking. What's frustrating, is everytime we commit a quantity in a lot when it is a component in a kit the lot quantities don't update until you do a day end. We continue to make a lot of mistakes in lot tracking because of this.

It appears like lot tracking is "dumb" in the sense that available quantities are not reduced instantly every time you commit a quantity to a lot. If you go to the next line in an order or need the same component for a kit that is lotted, you see the same quantities until you run a day end.

We are using Sage 300 ERP.
