version 5.6, 6.0, 6.1
In a larger database with lots of activity, the bank reconciliation is terribly slow. Clearing individual checks is pretty click, but then Saving the changes can take up to 5-10 minutes.
We cannot even use the quick clearing, as it just takes too long and is faster to do individually.
Posting the bank rec is the same thing, it takes about 5-10 minutes.
This is a big problem, as my client has about 4 banks with lots of activity. Performance on the smaller banks with only 5-20 entries a month is fine.
The larger banks have about 500-700 per month, the payroll could have up to 1500 checks per month. Sage 300 ERP targets mid market accounts, which certainly could be a lot larger than this.

Sure it SUCKS
I have shouted about this before and it still sucks on the latest upgrade
I have found that individual clearing is real quick if you forget the mouse use the arrow keys up and down the items and the space bar to tick / untick the item
But saving, bank entris, posting etc SUCKS

Ok I'll get banned again for saying that!
It would also be great if you could reverse the way the transactions show so the more recent ones are at the top.
By month end trying to get to the bottom of the list can take 5 minutes!
