I am fairly new to Accpac and have never worked with a system before that did not have you input your transaction date when you were keying in the actual data entry. I find it cumbersome to log off and on when moving between activity months. It is too easy to input or post data while you are in the wrong month, especially when you are not ready to close and lock a previous month. It would be helpful if you could at least bold highlight the date in the lower right hand corner. Also, perhaps it could be a color that would stand out, like dark red. Another solution would be to create a box that would come up asking if the date is correct prior to a batch being created or posted. This would cut down on date posting errors.
