What would really take this product to the next level is if they would greatly enhance the functionality of the optional fields.

1. Allow conditional fields i.e. If you select this value from OF1, you can only select certain values from OF2
2. Allow formulas where you could select from any field in any table, even external databases
3. Allow users to paste fields anywhere - not just on a separate tab.

  • I agree with Mark, we need to improve optional field to a level where it is user-friendly and practical. currently, it's not data entry friendly at all especially the detail grid optional field

  • Please add Optional Fields for Workers Compensation expense. It is the only expense in Payroll that cannot have connection to optional fields

  • I agree with Sam, just set up payroll in a new company where we are using optional fields and was surprised Workers Comp cannot be set.
