If the Employer portion of a deduction (i.e. pension) needs to go in a T4 Box (i.e. Box 52) there should be an option to choose a T4 Reporting box on the Employer tab of the Deduction (just like the Employee tab option).

Yes!! I was just about to post this... shouldn't have to create a deduction and then a separate benefit to account for employer's contributions...
