Did you know that an item that is ON QUARANTINE can still be used in IC ADJUSTMENTS or in ASSEMBLILES? No message pops up indicating that you cannot use this lot because it is on quarantine. This is a MASSIVE issue. This can't be allowed. Why quarantine it if users can still use it as they wish? The user that did use it does not have the ability to QUARANTINE RELEASE. (though, she can still see the check box on the LOT NUMBERS screen and I assume can take it off quarantine there (another huge issue).
Sage, please understand that in our food processing business, Quarantines are MAJOR. And could cost lives if not handled properly. Yes, we have a BRC QA program to assist but our inventory database also needs to be in check.
Please, add controls that only designated individuals can handle/transact and release quarantined items.
And please, don't let quarantine items be able to be used in assemblies and adjustments. Similar to the OE screen where you just CANNOT pick that lot, the same programming should be behind assemblies and adjustments.
Please reference this with kb ID 66362.
Says "Development is investigating the issue". Hope you are investigating a resolution and investigating a patch date. Thanks.

Agreed on Assemblies but would still like to be able to make Adjustments with lots in Quarantine.
Also, it would be very helpful if there was a Quarantine status type: Accepted, Rejected, Conditional would be the values. We are tracking that in an optional field now but it is rather cumbersome and does not flow through the system.
