We've been told this feature must be run by a user who has Administrator rights to the machine that it's running on, because it has to be able to edit the registry. It is a security violation to allow non-IT staff administrative rights on their computers, because if we do that they can install any software they want including viruses and malware.

This is a huge flaw in the software, which has and is costing us valuable time and resources to try to find a workaround. Please look in to finding a way to make the function work for normal users, like all other features of Sage ERP 300 do.
