It would be nice to have the option to have some employees receive their holiday pay on each pay and others to accrue without having to create separate Earnings. For instance for temporary or contract employees.

  • You should be able to create a new earnings code (we call ours VACWP for Vacation with pay). This code should not be an accrual, but would calculate at 4% (or whatever your rate is) Any employees that you do not wish to accrue can have the VACWP code instead of your normal vacation pay code set up.

  • We have a few occasional workers that we do that with.
