If users enter a PO number and then use **NEW** when this auto increments to the number if fails with a duplicate. Enhancement would be to either disallow user to enter there own PO number and auto increment only by using a flag in setup or when the next auto generated PO number already exists just skip and try the next until a free one is available. The same could be applied in other places where the **NEW** is allowed

I agree - have the option to disallow users to enter their own PO numbers. That way the sequence will never but disrupted.
