We can hide the Delete button from batch list window using customize UI Profile in order to avoid user to delete the batches in GL, AR, AP. However, if the user press Delete button on the keyboard, the batch CAN BE DELETED. Then, this has lost the control which is to prevent the user to delete batch.
Please disable the function of Delete button on keyboard to delete batches in GL, AR and AP. This means whenever the user press Delete button on keyboard to delete the batch, there shall be NO confirmation message box to prompt up asking "Delete batch XX?". It shall be as no reaction at all.

In the GL you can remove the Transaction Maintenance rights and the user won't be able to press the Del key to delete a batch. However, you can't prevent the Del key being used to delete the detail entries.
