Using CSV allows for too many errors during import - if there is a comma or carriage return in the entry description, the entire file gets thrown out of whack. We can't ask customers to manually edit CSV files, especially large ones. For my client with 16 companies, we are having to discard this as a solution entirely.

AGREED. The clients that need this tool will switch accounting systems because this tool cannot be consistently used. The hotfix is an archaic DOS EXE. Better yet just strip the carriage returns and extra characters out of the description & reference fields automatically as part of the export function.
