Currently we are able to enter an employees date of birth after more recent than their hire date. Payroll should have some sort of validation between the hire date and birthday.
ex : We hired someone march 1st 2017 and by mistake enter his date of birth Sept 20th 2017.
This has an impact on Canada Pension deductions but only noticed this error while preparing T4

When this happens, no CPP is deducted on the employees pay.
If you have a large payroll this can easily be missed.
