There should be a way to restrict users downloading certain data at the connection stage.

For example, Sales Manager might be restricted from seeing other GL accounts' data (using GL security). Then when the Sales Manager runs an SI report that queries those accounts, the data should be not copied to the template. Right now Sage Intelligence allows this. We would have to add a filter to eliminate the data. This becomes a problem when I have 100+ departments and I would have to create 100+ copies of a same report to have the filter setting.

If Sage Intelligence can read the GL security setting from the user profile that would be great. Or, if we can have some sort of the security setting at Report manager (such as, incorporating the reporting tree in the security manager)
