At the moment, the Description and reference fields take a maximum of 60 characters and it is sometimes not enough. currently most words are abbreviated or cut short to accommodate the entire description needed.

This is very crucial. Most of our clients have to use abbreviations for the AR & AP description fields to bel accomadate their transaction naration. This is not good as it gives them serious issues during their financial audit.
