The new Sage 300 Web Screens include some unfavorable features. Here are a list of feature improvements that should be included with the Web Screens so that the product is more inline with the native features of the desktop version of Sage 300.

1) Column reordering does not save to the user profile (Thus the user has to make these changes each time they are editing a record or adding a new record).

2) Column width does not save to the user profile (Thus the user has to make these changes each time they are editing a record or adding a new record).

3) Finders will only display all of the results if they are cleared (If a value is populated in a field like Location, for example, the finder with only retrieve values for that field that start with the value that was entered. Thus, the user has to clear the value prior to using the finder to show info for all locations, for example).

4) There is no Print Destination option with the Web Screens.

5) The “Add Line” button in Order Entry should be triggered once the user tabs off of the Item Number field (this function was available with the old web deployment screens).

6) The users should be able to configure the number of detail lines that display prior to paging within a Sales Order (Currently this is set at 10 records when the old web deployment screens displayed unlimited detail lines).

7) Within a Sales Order, when committing a Quantity that exceeds the Quantity on Hand for the Item and Location, a warning should appear for the user.
