The following has been tested :
• If Negative Inventory is allowed and ticked in IC-
o The system on both Orders(Ship All button) as well as Shipment will give a warning message,
• If Negative Inventory is not allowed/Unticked in IC-
o The system will only give an error on the Shipment screen. The built in safety is that although it will allow the Order to go through on Ship All, it will ship what is available in stock and the remainder of the qty will be put on B/O in the shipment entry. The Invoiced amount will also only be equal to qty available in stock. It does not give an error message on the Ship all function.
We would expect that if Negative Inventory is not allowed that the error would pop-up when using the Ship All option on the order. Now only stock on hand is shipped and invoiced which is not what we expect from the system. On Ship All on the Order, the system should give the same error as on the shipment entry when shipments are made on stock that will cause it to go into a negative value.
