Sage 300: Inventory exports by category not available in export criteria criteria for Price Lists, Location details, vendor details

In Sage 300 Inventory Control: We can export by category criteria in the FINDER, but not the native ledger exports. Client wants to upload standard costs, suggested base prices received from supplier but cannot extract the formats to update and import. Matching and filtering using vlookup and excel is very time consuming and difficult with thousands of items.

This because those tables don't have the Item category. Using only the inbuilt tools, yes you need to export both and join in excel. We have built a tool to pull items and most of their related out and in, using filters, via a simplified single Excel sheet. i imagine others have done this too.
