I want to set a filter in Transactions which can be locked.
We have a buyer who requires the ability to search for items purchased from previous years, therefore access to transactions is great so she can search all items to find a PO number or supplier so she can repeat order, this could be something we ordered a few years ago so would not remember all details.
However i cannot give her access to the transactions area as she could then see all transactions, ie: wages, Dividends etc...
Being able to set a filter ie: only items with an Ex Ref entered would be perfect the she could only see PO'd items

Is this GL transactions? if so, this already exists - GL Account permissions.
Enable under GL Setup/Options/Account / Use GL Security
