We have clients asking for the ability to audit the time and Windows user making changes to the ADMIN password and other Sage 300 user passwords. The audit must include changes made to passwords using the Change Password button on the login screen. The report must include the account of the changed password, the time, the Windows User and machine hostname/IP address. Note that the Pacific Technology Audit Logger does not have this capability. Since Sage 300 2023 PU1 and later track all previous password changes to ensure the same password isn't re-used in the future, we believe enough information is stored about passwords to make this Audit Report a possibility. Also the current User Activity Report has many flaws including that activity performed on a Terminal Server show all changes being made by the same machine, instead of showing the Windows User or more useful information. Kind regards...Tim, Accsys Consulting.
