It would be nice to use a program shortcut (Shortcut to be Put on Sage Desktop) to open up an Intelligence report. Our users don’t have access to double-clicking items the desktop, which is where I would normally put this Sage Intelligence Shortcut. In our this scenario, the Sage program is being published as an app only, so the only access users have is within Sage itself, which is why creating the program shortcut on the Sage Desktop would be ideal. This is why we are trying to use the program short cut inside of Sage.
The Program Shortcut within Sage successfully runs when it is first made, but upon closing and reopening Sage, it experiences a glitch where the Argument function seems to move to the end of the Command prompt, and this causes the program to fail on all subsequent tries after the closing and reopening of Sage.
Sage is aware of this issue (see ticket 8009719132) and has suggested this as an enhancement request.
