If the check box is selected it will copy whatever is in the "From" field to the "To" field. This would eliminate having to retype the "To" field value when a single item is being requested on a report. For example when printing vendor transactions for a single vendor- after the "From" field has a value typed in it, the check box can be selected and it will copy the vendor number (i.e. Vendor #1200) from the "From" field to the "To" field. It would eliminate a lot of duplicate typing of ranges when a single value is being entered for a report or other inquiries.
