Would like the edit assembly search option not to be punctuation sensitive. Whenever I try to add new items to assemblies, Edit Assembly->Insert->Items, the search option is punctuation sensitive. For example: Searching for "Wire Copper" will not find anything, but if you search for "Wire, copper" it works well. The pervasive database is not having this issue.

  • Please remove the punctuation sensitive in the search.

  • Sage Engineers need to fix this issues ASAP. Sage needs to have better QC process in place before the release of the software to the public. Please make the search of the cost items easier. Remove the punctuation sensitive in the search.

  • Please get rid of the punctuation sensitivity in the search. There is a lot of time being wasted trying to accommodate the program, which is completely backwards because it is the duty of the program to accommodate me and my team on projects. These wasted man hours make it very difficult to justify using Sage and we may have to swap to another program. Please fix this problem ASAP!

  • The search function needs to to be updated. This issue restricts the functionality of the assembly search.

  • The malfunctioning search UI on Sage is elongating the time necessary to complete projects. Please remove the punctuation sensitivity in the search function and clean up the search queues.

  • Agree with the others: the search option currently requires us to replicate punctuation quirks, which disaggregates a great deal of content that might otherwise get appropriately combined. It also doesn't account for misuse of punctuation, which happens all too frequently. A more streamlined approach would help.
