On the totals page a nice time saver would be a way or some buttons button that might "Allocate all" or "Unallocate all" addons or "Reset to" totals page template selections, perhaps a mixture.

Mixture:
We have a particularly long list of addons and for job cost and report purposes we may choose certain addons to be allocated - like as set in the default template for instance.

Unallocate all:
But to see the addon calculations on the alternates summary page all addons need to be unchecked on the totals page.

Allocate all:
Or if you don't want to see any addons on the alternate summary sheet they all need to be checked on the totals page.
