Please bring back the function to hide the Item Takeoff Settings window so it's not always taking up space on the screen. This was able to be done in previous versions, I don't see why y'all are removing useful features.

this shouldn't have been removed. You should be able to pin, dock and or auto hide the item takeoff values dialog as a fly out.
