Duplicate Key Error - when renumbering Assembly ID

When trying to update an assembly to one that already exists, the Application forces you to close the Application.
Error message: Cannot insert duplicate key row in object 'dbo.Assembly' with unique index 'UIX_Assembly_IsGroup'. The duplicate key value is (0, AB1-140B-BEL24229020).

  • We had a similar error with duplicate location names in estimate models: Secured.Location with unique index UIX_Location_Name

    and a duplicate key row error when inserting a new add on the totals sheet: Secure.AddonBasis with unique index UIX_AddonBasis_ParentAddonNumber_ChildAddonNumber

    Not sure if this was addressed in the newest version of Sage, but have not had the error since we updated to 21.1
