Currently we have to go into File / Options to turn on / off Display Overline Totals When Expanded.
To me this should be a button on the menu bar under Spreadsheet Actions. Click on/off. I guess its several less steps and you can click it On when you want to see it and Off to reduce clutter quickly
It’s the little things you do 10 to 30 times a week that add up over time.
