To add some addon and markup functionality, it would be great to have an addon type create a reference amount that does not add to the running total nor does it distribute to any addon cost.
Instead, it would have a reference code (like Addon number) that an Addon could refer to for a markup and subsequent distribution to cost types and WBS ranges.

The whole totals page experience could be upgraded - i think the current is around 15 years old. More importantly perhaps - if pulling your estimate into Sage Bid Matrix that the totals page be duplicated there as well as back to estimating - the round trip as its called.
Additionally the alternate spreadsheet summary - provide similar totals page functionality there on each of your breakouts (whereas one could have different markups on each )
